Apr. 17, 2023 - Shinagawa Refractories (Shinagawa), the leading global supplier of refractory solutions, announces that it has entered into an Exclusive Distributor Agreement with Allied Mineral Products (Allied) of the U.S. Shinagawa is appointed as Allied’s exclusive distributor of monolithic refractory technology for the aluminum market in Japan. 

Allied and Shinagawa have a long-established relationship since 2005, when Allied licensed its monolithic refractory technology for aluminum application to Shinagawa Refractories Australasia, Shinagawa’s subsidiary in Unanderra, Australia. 

On the back of mutual success in Australia, Allied and Shinagawa turn to the Japanese aluminum industry. This alliance combines world-class monolithic refractory expertise for aluminum application of Allied and the local presence and service infrastructure of Shinagawa.
